This spring, the storytelling show, Different, is coming back - a little show that asks big questions. The theme of being different is more topical than ever.
We’ll meet five different characters and ask them thought-provoking questions. How different are we allowed to be? Is one person more worthy of respect than another? Are you different?
The starting point is the story of Christina Catharina Larsdotter, also known as Big Stina or the tall girl from Lapland. She was 6’9” (210 cm) and was displayed around Europe as a giant in the 19th century.
We’ll also meet other characters who are perceived as being different, or who perceive themselves as different. They’re all different in their own ways. How would it be if no one was different? What do you think?
